Privacy policy
Effective November 6, 2026
Whipround is a project by Julian Lo. It isn't live yet. This policy covers whipround.app, where you can join the waitlist.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we save:
- Your email address
- Your answers to the waitlist questions
- The address of the page that sent you here, and any tag on the link you followed
- When you signed up
We count visits to this site with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It gives us overall numbers, such as how many people visited and which pages they opened. It doesn't use cookies or try to identify you. The only tracker we may use is the Meta pixel, described under Ads.
Why we collect it
- To tell you when Whipround opens
- To decide what to build. Now and then we may email you a question.
Who else is involved
- Cloudflare hosts this site, stores the waitlist, and counts visits.
- Meta may receive the information described under Ads.
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else.
Ads
We may advertise Whipround on Instagram. The links in our ads carry a tag, so we can tell which ad a signup came from.
We may use the Meta pixel and similar technologies, such as cookies, from Meta, the company that owns Instagram. They collect information from this site. Meta uses that information, together with information from elsewhere on the internet, to measure our ads and to target and deliver ads.
We don't send Meta your email address or your answers.
To opt out of ad targeting, change the ad settings in your Instagram or Facebook account, or visit aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.
Do not track
This site does not respond to "do not track" signals from your browser. When the Meta pixel is in use, Meta may collect information about your activity over time and across other sites.
Your choices
To see, correct, or delete your information, email [email protected].
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version on this page with a new date.
